We are a progressive friendly club open to all ages and abilities.

Starting with beginners lessons in the small pool, to widths lessons, Junior Competition Squad and Masters(Adults) in the main pool.

Whether you are swimming for fitness, or are an ambitious competition swimmer we have a place for you.

Our Staff have amongst the highest qualifications in Coaching/Teaching Swimming, we will enable yourself, or your child to achieve their highest potential.

BML League Gala 1.

Fantastic effort by all the Marin Swimmers, many competing for the first time.

We were second overall, despite being light on swimmers.

Well done to you all,  that includes our volunteers at poolside, and parents supprorting in the stand.

BML Gala 18th September

Fanatastic effort by the Marlins, just pipped into second by Rossington.  Great swims by all our Boys and Girls, and a big thankyou to the parents and kids who helped make this gala run smoothly.

Swimmers:  Several swimmers recently moved up the Phase Ladder at Doncaster Dartes.  Well done to our youngsters who train very hard indeed, and have certainly made an impact down there in a short space of time.

Becky promoted to Phase 4.

Rebecca Heywood moves into the Phase 4 Training Group at Doncaster Dartes.  That's a first for Minsthorpe, and we have quite a few more who are ready to follow.   We will miss her in Training, but she promises to turn out for the Minsthorpe Team when required.  Well done  Becky, all that hard work has paid off.

Yorkshire Championships 2011

A teriffic performance from Grace Litchfield in the 50M Backstroke, where she was 25th overall.  Chloe Key continues in brilliant form, below 40 seconds for the first time in the straight 50M Fly for 17th Place.  She was also 29th in Breaststroke.  I am sure that the DARTES Coaches will be very pleased with the performance of these two.

Relay News:

Lindon Jessop featured in the 10's A Squad, on Freestyle, not bad for someone who joined the Club just a few months ago.  Sam Tinsley at just 9 recoded a 41.76 for free , and he can race in this age group next year, a powerful kid.  Rebecca Heywood was up to her best in the 11/12 free.  Elanor Vodden took 1.2s off her PB in free, and there is bags of improvement to come. Chloe Key made the A Team Medley for DARTES, and had great weekend.  Grace Litchfield recorded a 41.76 Backstroke and a 37.64 Free. which were both PB's.  A talented girl, who likes a singsong whilst training.  Lauren Heywood was also close to her best over this long course.  Once again a bold showing from the Marlins, representing Doncaster Dartes at the Yorkshire Championships.

A Magnificent Seven Marlins have been selected for Doncaster Dartes,  in the Team Relays at the Yorkshire County Championships.

Congratulations to:- Grace Litchfield, Chloe Key, Lauren and Becky Heywood, Lindon Jessop,  Sam Tinsley, and Elanor Vodden.

Keep up the hard work guys, you are a credit to the club.

Chloe Key with a brill 15 second PB in the 200M Breaststroke 3:35.35

Minsthorpe Girls Back each other up at Yorkshire Championships.

Well done to our 2 10 Year Old DARTES Girls Lauren Heywood and Grace Litchfield.  Grace was 24th with a 1 Second PB, and ultra tough Lauren got a 4 second PB in 22nd, in the 200M Backstroke.

Marlins sizzling start to 2011!

A fantastic performance by the Marlins, as a dozen girls took part in the delayed swim-along-a-santa-meet.  We finished 12th out of 22 Clubs,  an outstanding performance from our girls.  We are making rapid progress, well done to the Marlins Team.

Blaine Key passes ASA/UKCC Level 2 Certificate.

We are delighted for Blaine, who has shown temendous enthuisiasm, and willingness to get involved.    Blaine also coaches down at Doncaster Dartes, and he will be a real asset to both Clubs.
